The purpose of RUF is to reach students for Christ and equip them to serve Jesus in every sphere of life. 

Reaching students means proclaiming the gospel to those on the college campus who do not know Jesus.  Equipping students means preparing them to serve Christ with maturity in the college during their time at Mercer and in the local church for the rest of their lives.  Over the past 30 years, RUF has had a significant impact on Mercer’s campus and the surrounding community.  Thousands of students have grown in their love for Jesus and been challenged by the Word of God through ministry of RUF.
